Chapter 46: Giving to those whose hearts have been inclined (towards Islam) and urging those whose faith is strong to show patience
باب إِعْطَاءِ الْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ عَلَى الإِسْلاَمِ وَتَصَبُّرِ مَنْ قَوِيَ إِيمَانُهُ
Sahih Muslim 1059 b
Anas b. Malik reported that when Allah conferred upon His Messenger (ﷺ) the riches of Hawazin (without armed encounter) ; the rest of the hadith is the same except some variation (of words)
" Anas said: We could not tolerate it and he also said: The people were immature in age."حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، - وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لَمَّا أَفَاءَ اللَّهُ عَلَى رَسُولِهِ مَا أَفَاءَ مِنْ أَمْوَالِ هَوَازِنَ . وَاقْتَصَّ الْحَدِيثَ بِمِثْلِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ أَنَسٌ فَلَمْ نَصْبِرْ . وَقَالَ فَأَمَّا أُنَاسٌ حَدِيثَةٌ أَسْنَانُهُمْ .
